"Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let your hands not be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well." (Eccl 11:6) The worst thing you could do to yourself is to confine yourself to one place. As a matter of principle, nature abhors stagnancy. Try maintaining one posture for a long time and see what happens. Truth is no matter how comfortable the posture is, after a while it becomes painful. That is how it is with life. No matter how comfortable, convenient and conducive a stage of your life is, or a particular level of your life is, it is very bad and unhealthy to remain in one position or stage or level for a long time. Growing up you dream of going to high school, when you get to high school for the first time you are excited. But after a while you get tired of high school and you start dreaming of college. Then you eventually get into college and after a couple of years you start dreaming of getting a job and becoming a member of the working class. Point is that is how life is designed to work. The only way to remain relevant and have the joy of being alive is to continue to spread yourself and continue to grow. Now this does not mean indulging on every whim that comes to you. It does not been to "tread on the wild side". It simply means to make a continuous effort to not limit your own potentials by confining yourself to one place, one way of thinking, one set of experience, one type of education, one type of investment. If you are going to experience the expansion that God has promised you, you must learn to spread yourself. .
The word of God said to not limit yourself to just one activity or one talent. Develop all your talents. Explore every means you can to improve your state in life. Continue to try and practise until you get it right. Don't say I have sowed in the morning and then you get lazy in the afternoon. Don't say I am studying medicine and so for that you refuse to take a training on public speaking or selling. Great success is usually a product of great learning. Don't sell yourself short. In conclusion it adds, you don't know which of the things you engage in will prosper or eventually all of them might!
