Confess to possess

With the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Rom 10:10) With the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. There are two things that are required for us to enjoy full freedom and dominion in Christ. The first is righteousness and the second one is salvation. These two things are separate while complementary. Righteousness is the gift of God which is given to the believer. The keyword there being "believer" which means one who believes, not one who believed. The belief is present continuos, not past. We are assured of God's precious gift of righteousness as long as we keep believing. "Believe in what?" is the question one could ask. The answer is also very simple. It is belief in the Lord Jesus Christ. Belief in the word of God. Belief in the Truth. Belief in the freedom that God has promised His people. That is what attracts the precious gift of righteousness. .

Now go back to that scripture, notice that "rightousness" comes before "salvation". This is not a coincidence. It is actually the correct order of things. You do not become righteous because you are saved. You are rather saved because you have been declared righteous. Now, you must undestand that nobody has the ability to achieve righteousness on their own. Righteousness has to be given by God. Righteousness is beyond the grasp the human faculty. Our "righteousness:" is nothing but a filthy rag before God. It is God's righteousness that sets us free and saves us! Righteousness gives you access to God. Access to divine health. Access to freedom. Access to Prosperity. Access to spiritual victory. But having access to something is not the same thing as having it! That is why you must confess to possess. You must say it. You must claim it. You must proclaim it to receive it. That is why it says with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

God bless you
