You have power now

"Heal the sick, and tell them, 'The Kingdom of God is near you now" (Luke 10:9 NLT) .

One of the things Jesus promised and gave to us is power. The scripture is filled with references to this. This is because without power we cannot live on this earth. The problems of life and the spiritual world that is superimposed on this physical world does not respond to anything but power.

Power is the ability to cause change. That is what God has given us. He said whichever city you enter, heal the sick. He didn't say call me to come and heal the sick! We have been given the power, God is not holding it. He gave it to is to use.

With great power comes great responsibility. Our responsibility is to access this power, and use it to the glory of God. The fact that the power has been given doesn't automatically imply that we have received it! There are principles for receiving this power.

This power can only be accessed through the discipline of prayer. You have power now, access it, use it and your life will no longer be at the mercy of the devil and his demons.
