"And the LORD restored the fortunes of Job, when he had prayed..." (Job 42:10, ESV) The season of restoration is the season of prayer. You can never regain what you have lost unless you pray your way through. The first thing to understand about restoration is to know that everything you have ever lost is not really lost. They didn't just disappear into the thin air. That job you lost, that opportunity you lost, that child, that destiny, that intelligence and academic brilliance, that wonderful gift - each and every one of the things you lost didn't just get lost; somebody took them and that person is the devil. Restoration means retrieving those things back from the thief, the devil who stole them from you in the first place. That is where prayer comes in. Nobody ever experienced restoration without a serious committed season of prayer. That is why we shall be launching into a three day season of prayer to fast and pray for our restoration. Starting from tomorrow 23rd October 2017, I want you to join your faith with mine, as we launch into a three day season of prayer for restoration. If you are willing and committed, I will like you to join me - fast in the mornings from 6am to 12pm, or 3pm or 6pm. Our prayers shall always be in the midnights 12 am on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The devil, the thief is in trouble!
All through the scriptures, no individual or group of people have ever experienced restoration without a season of prayer. Take a look at Job, the Bible said that God restored his fortunes after he had prayed. It took a season of devoted prayer for God to intervene in his life and restore everything that satan stole. Jesus said that before you can go into the house of a strong man and take the things he kept there, you must first bind him (Mark 3:27). Prayer is the weapon with which we can bind the devil and his demons. Prayer is the weapon with which we can paralyse and frustrate the activities of demons, witches and spiritual thieves in our life. Through prayer we connect to the victory that Christ has won for us.
