"Again, the Kingdom of Heaven can be illustrated by the story of a man going on a long trip. He called together his servants and entrusted his money to them while he was gone." (Mattm25:14, NLT) There isn't a single person alive today who does not possess the ability to make it in life. No one; not even the less privileged, the paralysed, the blind, the crippled. History abounds with testimonies, stories, examples of people who have against all odds, made it in life. Everyone according to the scriptures have been given a certain ability. There is a resident power within each of us to make it in life. The problem usually arise when we fail to put this power to work. The word power refers to ability. And to have the ability to do something is to possess the skill or competence to do that. Now, this simply means that God gives us the skills, the talents, the natural wherewithal to make money. The health He gives us, the sound mind, the natural talent all comes together to constitute the ability or power that God has given us to make money. God will not throw down wealth from heaven no matter how much you sit back and pray for that to happen. He will not do that simply because it is against the principles He has put in place for wealth acquisition. Contrary to what most people believe, God is very much interested in wealth acquisition: He Himself being a very wealthy God! .
Now let me say this one more time, there is no human being on earth who do not have the potential and God given ability to become wealthy. If you are not bright at school, you may be a good footballer. If you can't sing, you may be a good writer. God has given each of us something that will make our world celebrate us. No matter who you are, you simply have to decide to discover that which God has put in you and then put it to work!
