"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (John 10:10, CSV) "Yet if he (the thief) is caught, he must pay sevenfold..." (Prov 6:31, emphasis mine) The devil is a thief! The Bible says that the first thing the devil does when he gains entrance into any place, any life, any family, any business, any marriage... the first thing he does is to steal. Then, if he succeeds, he goes ahead to kill; and if he succeeds again, he goes on to accomplish the grand finale, which is destruction. Because we are still in this world, where the devil is called its god (2 Cor 4:4), we sometimes fall victim to satanic theft. We sometimes lose our health, our money, our job, our joy, etc. Anybody who denies that he has at one time or the other fallen victim of the devil's theft is only deceiving himself. Just this month, I lost something too; and in line with what God promised; I am believing him for my restoration. Get up and get ready, it is the season of restoration..
Have you ever wondered why Jesus said "The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy; but I have come that they may have life" At first reading, that passage is just another inspirational Bible verse with which we encourage ourselves. But on a second reading reading and deeper understanding through illumination by the Holy Spirit, you will discover that Jesus was actually contrasting himself with the thief. In other words, Jesus was saying, there is a thief - and he came before me. But I am the opposite of the thief. The thief steals, but I restore. He kills, but I resurrect. He destroys; but I give eternal life.
Jesus is the answer to our thief problem. Jesus is the only person who can catch the thief. Left alone, we are powerless and at the mercy of the thief. But Jesus has come to arrest the thief and make him give back everything he has stolen. According to Proverbs 6:21, the thief will be forced to pay back sevenfold. Get ready for a sevenfold restoration. I enjoin you today to look unto Jesus, the Author and the Finisher of our faith. He is the solution to our thief problem. He is our supernatural policeman . He has come to catch the thief.
If you can, join us in the three day Prayer for Restoration that started yesterday, as we invite our divine Police Officer - Jesus to catch the thief, and restore back everything he had stolen.
God blesss you.
