"He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: For they were too strong for me." (Psalm 18:17 KJV) .
It's one thing to have an enemy, it's an entirely different thing to have a strong enemy. An enemy is someone who hates you. Someone who is not happy when you succeed or when you are happy. Someone who will do everything within their power to make sure that you don't experience happiness. Someone who wants to see you in tears all the time. Child of God enemies are real whether you believe it or not.
And here is something that I want you to know: you don't have to do anything wrong for them to hate you. They are just that way, agents of the devil who will perpetrate the will of their master for not just cause. But the good news is that we have a God of deliverance. He will deliver us from all enemies, no matter how strong they are!
We must never be afraid of our enemies. When it comes to the battles between us and our enemies, God has promised to fight for us. Today I declare to you that God will fight and destroy your enemies. You shall overcome. You will experience joy and laughter and happiness in Jesus name. Amen.
