The glory revealed

"I consider that our present sufferings are not comparable to the glory that will be revealed in us." (Rom 8:18, BSB) .

Speaking on the topic, "The Revelation of Glory" during our just concluded Plan Conference, I said that gold is purified with fire. Without the suffering of fire, the glory of the gold cannot be revealed. It's unfortunate, politely speaking, that the only way to bring out the glory in gold is to pass it through the fire. I truly wish there was another way. But there isn't.

Here the Holy Spirit confirms what I have been saying all along when it says on Romans 8:8 that our present suffering is simply a means to reveal the glory in us. And here is where it gets interesting: The Bible says that the glory to be revealed will totally eclipse the suffering. In other words, the suffering is too small compared to the amount of glory it will reveal. Are you suffering? Are you passing through something you cannot be explain? God is saying to you "Trust me even when you can't understand me. I am trying to reveal your glory. I am trying to make you more fruitful."

Stay blessed!
