Jesus - the saviour with the answer

"The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me" (John 5:7) A great deal of us eventually overcome our inaction and decide to do something about the problems in our lives. At that moment when we decide to take action to better our situation, we encounter another astounding reality: "another steppeth down before me". .

The man by the pool of Bethsaida has been experiencing disappointment for thirty eight. I think if I were to give an award for the most persistent and patient man in the Bible, I would give it to this man. For thirty eight years, he was reliving the same nightmare. He would watch as the water gets troubled, he would get up and start moving towards the water to receive his healing, but - every single time - someone else would always get there before him. For thirty eight years, he kept trying, and for thirty eight years he had nothing to show for all his efforts except shame, sorrow and disappointment.

I could imagine little children started gathering to make fun of him. They would tell their colleagues, "Let's go see that impotent man that lives besides the pool who never makes it into the pool". "Let's go see the look on his face as he encounters another disappointment today". And they would gather, and everything would happen exactly the way they predicted and they would laugh the man to scorn. For thirty eight years, this man was an object of caricature.

But, that fateful day, he got his answer, his healing, his miracle. In spite of his imperfection, when Jesus got to where he was, his story changed. I prophecy to somebody reading this right now, Jesus has arrived in your situation. You are about to receive your miracle. It doesn't matter how many years you have been disappointed, today your salvation has come.

"Wilt thou be made whole?". The answer is yes! Jesus is making you whole right now. Receive healing in your body, your business, your marriage, etc in Jesus name. Amen
