At One Time (Part One)

At one time all the people of the world spoke the same language and used the same words." (Genesis 11:1 NLT) .

As I look at this scripture, I see the glorious plan and intention of the Almighty God for the people He created. I come face to face with the marvelous template upon which relationships, family, community, love were based upon and built. Everything was going as planned and as expected until sin and disobedience ruined everything.

The scripture says, "At one time all the people of the earth spoke one language". It expresses this in retrospect and regret because at the time of the writing, the whole people of the earth no longer spoke one language. There was already dissection, confusion and diffusion at large in the earth. People were killing and hating each other. Tribalism and religion have already began wrecking havocs.

But it wasn't always so, the scriptures seems to remind us. It doesn't matter how bad things are in the world right now. it wasn't always so, and God the owner of the world will restore it someday to perfection. Pray for the world because God so loves the world...(John 3:16). Pray for the salvation of souls and the restoration of peace.
