"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." (Acts 1:8) When expansion occurs, it is always dimensional. If expansion occurs in length, it is said to be linear or one dimensional. If it occurs in length and width, it is said to be superficial or two dimensional; and if it occurs in length, width and breadth, it is said to be cubic or three dimensional. This concept brings about the second law of expansion which says "Expand only where necessary". While it is always attractive and attention-catching to undergo a drastic change in a positive direction, it is mostly wise to undergo not "drastic", but gradual change. In that way, you are able to monitor the effects and respond appropriately. Even after the heat has started, even as you feel the desire burning in your heart, don't make a drastic overturn of your life. Let's say you have got that great idea that you are convinced beyond every reasonable doubt that it will make you a millionaire, and you are feeling the burning scorch to pursue your dream of enterpreneurship. The second law of expansion says don't quit your job just yet. Hold on to your day job and try floating your great idea as a part time endeavour and monitor the changes that it brings to your life, schedule and finances. A lot of persons have practically shot themselves in the foot by simply attempting to do just a little too many at a time. And take it from someone who does so many things, it is an excruciating thing if not wisely undertaken. The trick is to expand gradually starting with just where it is needed at a time. The key to multitasking is to do just one thing with all your heart within the time you have allocated to it. Discipline is the word here. .
Nature knows when to expand just in length, and when to expand in both length and width. The important thing is to balance your priorities and expand only where necessary.
