“I mean that I want us to help each other with the faith we have. Your faith will help me, and my faith will help you.” (Rom 1:12, NCV) “That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.” (Rom 1:12, KJV) In other to get the best out of life, we must learn to share what we have. No man is an island; and nobody has the ability to subsist themselves. Isolation is a terrible menace, and one of the worst things that can happen to anybody. But most people, because they feel they have enough and they do not want anybody to share from them, they isolate themselves from people who might want to get from them, and so slowly begin their death process. The day we stop sharing what we have is the day we stop creating room for new things. We have been told that nature abhors vacuum, well nature also abhors stagnancy. If you want to receive the value for what you have, share it. .
The Apostle Paul is one of the strongest Christian characters of the Bible times. If anybody would need to be comforted I didn’t imagine it would be Brother Paul. He had operational in his life, the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit. He spoke in tongues more than any other person. He was more learned than all the other Apostles. He wrote more books of the Bible. He was inspiration personified. But while writing to the Romans, he said I have my own faith; and you have yours. But the only way we are going to receive the full comfort is if we share our faith. No faith is too small. There is no person that is insignificant in the church. Stop hiding the talent or gift that God has giving you to share in the church because you feel it is not as important as Brother Joe’s gift. When we bring all our gifts and faith together, we will be comforted. Sharing brings comfort.
God bless you!
