There is a difference between producing fruit and producing lasting fruit. Some things look impressive for a moment but disappear quickly. .

 

“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain.”

A person can become popular and then be forgotten.

A business can experience rapid success and then collapse.

A sermon can inspire people for a day, but lasting transformation requires more.

Jesus said He appointed us to “bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain.”

God is interested in lasting impact.

What will remain because you lived?

Who will be better because you were here?

What will continue after your influence is gone?

A fruitful life is not necessarily the loudest life. Sometimes the greatest impact happens quietly.

A parent raising godly children is producing fruit that remains.

A teacher who transforms a student's life is producing fruit that remains.

A business owner who creates opportunities and treats people with integrity is producing fruit that remains.

A Christian who disciples another believer is producing fruit that remains.

A person who consistently serves others may never become famous, but their influence can continue for generations.

We must therefore stop measuring success only by immediate results.

Some seeds take years to produce a harvest.

Your prayer today may influence someone's future.

Your teaching today may shape someone's destiny.

Your generosity today may change someone's family.

Your integrity today may become an example for someone tomorrow.

Don't despise small acts of faithfulness.

Keep planting.

Keep serving.

Keep teaching.

Keep loving.

Keep giving.

Because fruit that remains is often the result of faithfulness that continues.

 

Reflection

• What am I building that will outlive me?

• Is my influence producing temporary excitement or lasting transformation?

• What seed can I plant today that may produce fruit tomorrow?

 

Prayer

Father, help me to live beyond immediate results. Give me grace to plant seeds that will produce lasting fruit. Let my life leave behind faith, wisdom, love, people transformed, and lives strengthened for Your glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.

 

Daily Declaration

My life will produce lasting fruit.
My labor in the Lord is not in vain.
The seeds I plant will produce a harvest.
My influence will outlive me.
I am building something that will glorify God for generations.
