"David sang to the Lord the words of this song when the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul." (2 Samuel 22:1 NIV) .
Seal your deliverance with praise. David was a praiser. Praise is showing appreciation to God through words and or songs for what he has done for you.
When God does something for you such as delivering you, don't just become excited and happy at your deliverance; make out time to praise Him. Don't underestimate the power and importance of praise. It is an act of gratitude, and God loves a grateful person. There is no limit to what God can do for a grateful heart. David was called the man after God's own heart because he lived a life of gratitude. Jesus emphasized the importance of gratitude with the incident with the ten lepers
When you are grateful, you seal your breakthrough and deliverance in the spirit. Don't forget, "They overcame him (the devil) by the blood of the lamb and the words of their testimony" (Rev. 12:11)
Has God been good to you? Has He delivered you from anything recently? Take at least fifteen minutes today and give Him praise for that.
