Not every miracle is something we see. Some miracles are the things God prevented from happening..
“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” (Psalm 91:1–2)
There are times when we celebrate because something happened. But there are also times when we should celebrate because something did not happen.
God's protection is often invisible.
Daniel was thrown into a lions' den, but God shut the mouths of the lions. The three Hebrew men were thrown into a fiery furnace, but God preserved them. Paul survived dangers that could have ended his life.
Protection is a powerful expression of God's miraculous intervention.
This does not mean believers will never face danger. Scripture contains many examples of faithful people who experienced persecution, hardship, and suffering.
Rather, it means that our lives are ultimately in God's hands.
Psalm 121 says that the Lord watches over our going out and our coming in.
There may be things you never knew God protected you from.
There may be accidents you never encountered, traps you never saw, and dangers that never reached you because God was watching over you.
Therefore, don't take God's protection for granted.
Thank Him for the battles you saw and the ones you never knew existed.

Take a moment today to remember some situations from which God has protected you.

Prayer
Father, thank You for Your protection over my life and family. Thank You for the dangers I have seen and the dangers I have never known about. Preserve me from evil, accidents, destruction, and every trap of the enemy. Give me wisdom to walk carefully, and let Your presence continually surround me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Daily Declaration
I dwell under the shadow of the Almighty. The Lord watches over me. I am preserved from evil, and God's hand is upon my life. My going out and coming in are under His care. Amen.
