"Go and tell Hezekiah, 'This is what the LORD, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears..." (Isa 38:5) "...Cornelius, God has heard your prayer..." (Acts 10:31) Imagine how glorious it must have felt for Hezekiah and Cornelius when God told them that He has heard your prayer. We all believe that prayer is a way of communicating with God, and receiving from God. Not everybody in the Bible had the privilege of hearing God say to them that their prayers have been heard. Imagine how strong and unshakable our faith will be if after spending time in prayer, God Himself says to us "I have heard your prayer". For me, my joy will know no bounds. For the Almighty God to speak to directly and confirm that He has heard my prayer, wow! That is just powerful! Friend, when God says to you "I have heard your prayer", it doesn't means He hasn't been hearing it before. No, it actually means He has answered your prayer. And today, I declare to you by the Spirit of God that God has heard your prayer. .
Hezekiah received a prophecy of death. He was told to pack up because he was about to die. His life was about to be cut short by a terrible sickness. He was about to die in his sick bed. It had been agreed in the spiritual realm that his time was up. But when the news was relayed to him, he disagreed! He prayed to God, and God heard his prayer. This is a wonderful lesson. Sometimes the things we suffer and accept as God's will can be changed if we come to God in prayer. Sometimes God is waiting for us at the junction of prayer to meet our needs and change our situation. Someone says PUSH means Pray Until Something Happens. And for those who have been a part of our three days Prayer for Restoration, God has asked me to declare to you that He has heard your prayers. Your battles are over because God has taken over. The powers of the enemy is broken. Satanic oppressions have been brought to a halt in Jesus name.
Cornelius was so committed in his prayers that his prayers became a memorial in heaven. I imagine that Heaven created a holiday called Cornelius Prayer Day. O my God... What an awesome experience! God Himself said to Cornelius, "I have heard your prayer". What are the prayers you have made to God in this season of restoration? What are the requests you have made to God? God says He has heard your prayer. As we conclude our prayers this night. Amplify your faith and ask God for anything that you want restored in your life, and according to His promise, He has heard you.
Happy season of restoration!
