The caption of today's lesson and the text says it all. Let God fight! We are faced on all sides by numerous fights, and sometimes we can get so busy, so engrossed in fighting these fights that we forget that the simplest thing to do is to hand these fights over to God and let Him fight for us. That is the only way to be sure of victory.
The scripture says, "Casting all your cares on Him, For He cares for you" ( 1 Peter 5:7). That is speaking about God. God wants to take over our battles and fight for us. All we have to do is let Him! We need to call upon God, ask Him to take over the battles of our life. We must surrender to Him totally.
The Bible says: "Submit yourself to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." (James 4:7). Notice that the first phrase of that scripture is "submit to God". That's the key to everything else. We cannot resist the devil of we don't submit ourselves to God. We cannot win our battles if we don't let God fight!
