From glory to glory

"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord." (1 Cor 3:18) The scripture promised that whatever the Lord does shall abide forever (Eccl 3:14). This is only possible because whatever God does is ever increasing! It continues to grow, to enlarge. Every gift that God gives carries within it the ability to grow, and that ability is the ever living and life-giving word of God. The glory which God has rested upon us is no different - it is an ever increasing glory; one that increases in dimension over time: from glory to glory..

James 1:24 likened the word of God to a mirror, and it says that anyone who hears the word and does not do it is like someone who observes himself in a mirror, and immediately forgets what he had seen. But the one who does the word is like one who looks into the mirror and remembers everything he saw. The big question has always been what is it that we see in the mirror of the word? Paul writing to the Corithians answered that question, we see the glory of the Lord!

The purpose of this glory is to constantly refine us, improve us, increase us, purify us until we become the best we can be. The glory is fed by the word. As we keep looking into the glasses of the word, we continue to see the glory of the Lord; and that glory continues to reflect in our lives.

It is not enough to experience His glory. We must grow in it. We must constantly feed this glory by focusing on its source. God's glory is risen upon you this month. You shall see your spiritual life, ministry, prayer life, business, career, education, etc move from one level of glory to another. Now is the time to experience that glorious transition - from glory to glory
