"Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place" (1 Chro 16:27) It is my pleasure and undeserved privilege to usher you into this new month of July - the month of Divine Presence. When God gave me the caption for this month, I was at first confused. My question was "After leading us through the month of Joy Unspeakable, what is the next thing?", and he said, "It is time for MY PRESENCE". I had to embark on series of studies and research regarding the PRESENCE OF GOD; and the more I studied, the more I realized why God wanted us to experience His presence this month. This month is unique. God is saying to you, "Seek my presence, and I will reveal to you great and marvelous things which you know nothing about". God wants to reveal to you the secret and the mysteries of this life - how you can make your marriage work; how you can succeed in your business; how you can defeat that bad habit; how you can break out of that ugly situation... The secret lies with God..
When God's presence becomes your daily companion; you will live in total victory - the devil can't touch you, sickness can't come close, your mind is at perfect peace. With God's presence comes glory, honour, strength and gladness. Moses insisted on His presence (Exodus 33:15). David cried, "Cast me not away from Your presence" (Psalm 51:11). Cain left His presence and died unfulfilled (Genesis 4:16). There is no better place to be than in His presence. It is our month of Divine Presence. We are pitching our tent in God's presence.
