God does not only want us to experience His power. He also wants to work through us. .
“In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” (Acts 3:6)
Peter and John encountered a man who had been unable to walk. Peter did not simply pray silently and walk away. He became an instrument through which God demonstrated His power.
This is an important dimension of living in the miraculous.
Sometimes we are waiting for God to send someone to help us, while God is preparing to use us to help someone else.
You may become the answer to someone's prayer.
Your encouragement may lift someone who is discouraged.
Your generosity may meet someone's need.
Your prayer may strengthen someone's faith.
Your knowledge may solve someone's problem.
Your testimony may restore someone's hope.
Your business may create opportunities for others.
Your ministry may lead someone to Christ.
Your hands may become God's hands of service.
God uses ordinary people who are willing to make themselves available.
You don't have to be famous.
You don't have to have millions of followers.
You don't have to have everything figured out.
You simply need to be available and obedient.
The question is not only:
“God, what will You do for me?”
Sometimes we should also ask:
“God, what do You want to do through me?”

Who can you encourage, pray for, help, or serve today?
Prayer
Father, make me a useful vessel in Your hands. Use my words, gifts, resources, knowledge, and influence to bless others. Help me to recognize opportunities to serve and represent Jesus wherever I go. Let my life become a channel through which Your goodness reaches others. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Daily Declaration
I am a vessel in God's hands. My life will bless others, strengthen faith, demonstrate God's love, and point people to Jesus. I am available for God's use. Amen.
