For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off" (Prov 23:18) Ever looked through all the troubles you have to go through in life and wonder if ever there was an end to it? Have you ever wondered if it was for any purpose. Did God just abandon you and allow you to pass through persecutions and trials for nothing? Was there ever an end to it? Was it for something? Was it all just happenstance and meaningless? Was there a design toward it? So many times life makes us doubt ourselves. Situation can make you question life, question faith and even question God. But if you want to remain in line and in the right, you must not allow circumstances to dictate your position. You must not surrender your fate and belief to life's ever changing situation. You need something that is more stable to be your anchor. Life's wavering situation does not qualify to be your guide. What you need is the word of God. And what does the word of God say exactly concerning you?.
The Bible states categorically clear that surely there is an end. It was not all for nothing. it is not worthless and meaningless. You are not going through what you are going through for no just reason. There is an end and a purpose; and in the end, when the end materializes, it will surely justify everything you have been through. If only you knew what these problems were meant to work out for you, you will jump on your feet and thank God for them. The truth friend is that without a test there will be no testimony. The reason you are going through what you are going through right now is because you have been selected for a promotion. And to crown it all, it says "Your expectations shall not be cut off"
