Talk about deliverance, and talk about prayer. Deliverance and prayer are two twin products. You cannot have one without the other. You cannot pray if you don't have the very first deliverance of salvation from sin, and you cannot be delivered if you don't pray. Trying to have a prayer life while living in sin or without being born again is like trying to be alive without being born. Salvation from sin gives you the seed of God which makes you His son and enables you to live a supernatural life.
Then after this happens, you can start praying. Praying now ensures your deliverance from every problem, fear, etc. With prayers you take charge of your life and circumstances and point them in the right direction. Prayer when done right, is the ultimate solution to life's battles.
From our text, the Bible didn't say that prayers produce great results...No, it says that the EARNEST prayers of a RIGHTEOUS person has great power and produces wonderful results! The secret of a powerful prayer is in the person who prays them. Are the prayers earnest and are they coming from a righteous person. Balance your zeal with knowledge and let God's Spirit produce the right fruit in your life.
