"But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons." (Gal 4:4) The beauty of the coming of Christ, His ministry, His life, His death was the timing of it. We humans have a very warped understanding of the concept of time. To us, time is something to be met up to. We are always running behind time. We are always hurrying to meet up the next appointment. Time is always ahead of us and we are always coming from behind. That is why we use such terms like: "meet up with time", "catch up with them". To us time is an endless dimension between the two ends of eternity. We do not know when time began, nor do we know when it will end; so we make up some counting system like seconds, minutes, days, weeks, etc in an attempt to make sense of the whole time concept. Nevertheless, we are still trapped in time. We are still the prisoners of our own limited perception of time. But there is One who knows the time; One who authored it. One who said that a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is like a day. There is One who knows the right time. There is one who sets the elements in motion. Before ever the earth made its first rotation, there is One who already how many hours it would take to make a day. And in the fullness of time, God sent His son. The essence of time is to keep track of the greatest event that will occur in human history: the death of Christ and His glorious resurrection. Little wonder, time is counted in BC and AD. Christ's death fulfilled time. It came at the time that the world was perfectly set for it. This timing paid the price for our sonship..
"That in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:" (Eph 1:10).
When it comes to God, it is all about timing. God loves to work with time. He deals on time. And we as His children must know that nothing that happens in time escapes His attention. He lives in eternity and He deals on time. God is never late. In this season of Easter, we must trust in the timing of God. If He was never late in saving man from sin, He will never beĀ late in saving you from any problem
