Spread yourself (part 2) - the one who scattereth

"There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty." (Prov 11:24) We all have something great buried inside us. We all have greatness, goodness, excellence, dominion and glory placed inside us by God. But the only way to make use of them is by scattering them. If we choose to confine them within us or reserve them to ourselves we will miss out on the wonderful life we could have had as a result of them. We miss out on the wonderful relationships we could have built and had because of them. We miss out on the great number of persons we could have influenced positively and contributed to their life as a result of the things we have in us. The Bible says that a man's gift makes a way for him. What way exactly? And how does this gift make this way for the man? It's simple. The gift brings him to the right company; gives him the right connections and social network. When we dare to bring out what is in us and share it with our world, it is amazing what glorious result that follows. Granted, we may not be right and perfect at the first few attempts. But as we continue to exercise our greatness, our genius, our gift, our excellence; it continues to mature to global prominence and acceptance. Inside some of us are a great writer, a great scientist, a great preacher, a great leader, a great entrepreneur, a great business person. But if we hide that person inside and stop him from coming out, we will never be what we are meant to be. .

The Bible says "There is someone who scatters and yet increases". The key to growth is to put yourself out there. Don't be shy or scared of what people might say. What people might say is their own business. What you are doing with your life is your business and major focus. The truth is people will always have something to say. Don't be the one that withholds what he has and suffers loss. Be the one who spreads himself!
