"When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles." (Psalm 34:17) .
God delivers the righteous. The fact that we are born again or filled with the Holy Spirit does not exempt us from troubles and problems of life. Problems will come regardless of our spiritual stand and status. We will have need for food, clothing, shelter. These needs don't suddenly disappear because we joined a church.
At some point, we will find ourselves battling with circumstances of life - fear, sickness, hunger, debt even death. In such situations we must learn to cry for help. Call on God. Give ourself to prayer. Take our life serious. To have problems is one thing, to be overrun by them is another thing.
God made a way for us to be delivered from our problems and troubles no matter how severe they are. It's by calling upon Him; by relying and trusting in His delivering power. The Lord hears when we cry. Cry, pray, call... on Him. He hears and He will always deliver the righteous
