When God does something remarkable in our lives, we should remember it and give Him glory. The Bible repeatedly encourages God's people to remember His works. .
“Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.” (Psalm 66:16)
Why?
Because testimony strengthens faith.
When we remember what God has done yesterday, we are encouraged to trust Him today.
A testimony is more than telling people that something good happened to us. It is acknowledging the hand of God in our story.
When God provides, testify.
When He protects you, testify.
When He opens a door, testify.
When He delivers you, testify.
When He answers prayer, testify.
Your testimony may be the encouragement someone else needs to keep trusting God.
The blind man whom Jesus healed could not stop talking about what had happened to him. The man delivered from demonic oppression was instructed to tell his story to others.
Your testimony is not meant to glorify you.
It is meant to glorify God.
Sometimes we remember our problems more easily than we remember God's faithfulness.
This is why the Psalmist said, “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.”
Don't forget.
Write down God's answers to prayer.
Remember His interventions.
Tell your children what He has done.
Share your testimony.
Give God the glory.

What has God done for you that you should intentionally remember and testify about?
Prayer
Father, thank You for all You have done for me. Forgive me for the times I have focused so much on what I still need that I forgot what You have already done. Give me grace to remember Your faithfulness and courage to testify about Your goodness. Let my testimony point people to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Daily Declaration
I will not forget the works of God. I will remember His faithfulness and testify of His goodness. My testimony will strengthen others and bring glory to Jesus. Amen.
