God will provide all your needs

"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Phil 4:19) "A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean." (Matt 8:2) One of the things that make us unique as human being is our problems. A saying goes that as our faces are different, so are our problems different. No matter how related, friendly, close or affiliated we are, no two persons have the same needs. We might have some needs that fall into the generic column such as food, clothing, security, etc. But the real needs, the real things that our inner heart craves and needs to get are entirely different. But the beautiful thing about our relationship with God is that, He knows all our needs and He wants to provide for them!.

Our true needs are those things we can't provide for ourselves. If we need food, and have the money to buy food; then food is not really a need anymore. But when we have a need and do not have the ability, the wherewithal, the capacity, the connections, etc to provide for it, then that need becomes a true need. It becomes not just a need but a problem. It becomes a burden. It becomes a source of discomfort, worry, anxiety - and if care is not taken, it dis-stabilizes us, renders us desperate.

God knows about this; that is why He promised to supply our needs. He doesn't want to leave us to ourselves. He doesn't want us wondering where our next meal is going to come from. He wants us to know that "He's got it"! He got it covered. He has our backs. We are to approach life everyday with the confidence and assurance that everything we need has been provided for.

Some of us are the man who came to meet Jesus. He wasn't sure if Jesus would be willing to help him. So he said: "if you are willing, you can make me clean". Friend, God is more than willing to provide for you. He is not awaiting around until you ask Him. He went ahead and provided for you. He took the liberty to order ahead before you arrived. He made you; He knows what your needs are; He anticipates your needs. And He has provided for ALL your needs.

As you step into this day, this week; let your heart be at rest. Have no need to worry or fret, because your needs have been accounted for.

"The Lord is my Shepherd. I shall not want" (Psa 23:1)
